West China School/Hospital of Stomatology topped the list of stomatology of STEM Ranking system
The 2019 National Hospital/Medical School Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) Ranking was released by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences on December 19rd, 2019. West China School/Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University topped the list of stomatology for the sixth straight time.
STEM Ranking system has been set up and modified by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, reflecting the science and technology capabilities of public hospitals. The ranking was based on their research output including journal publications, patents, patent conversion, and national standards in 2018. This comprehensive evaluation system, covers the processes of scientific and innovative activities, indicates the enormous influence of the hospital by standardized sources and method.
