Assessment of Clinical Skills(Doctor) is a test of the students' clinical skills after clinical practice training. It focus on: training of diagnosis and treatment of common oral and maxillofacial diseases including such as caries, pulpitis, periodontal diseases, oral mucosa diseases, oral and maxillofacial defects, tumors, trauma, dentition defects and malocclusion; understanding the processing methods of common diseases in each specialty; improving students’ clinical analysis and thinking ability. Students are required to master the fundamental inspection, diagnosis and treatment methods of common diseases in the department of endodontics, oral mucosa diseases, periodontics, preventive dentistry, geriatric dentistry, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics during the internship period, master the diagnosis and treatment technology of conventional operation and propose the diagnostic basis and treatment plan, master the innovation in diagnosis and treatment theory and methods in oral and maxillofacial diseases.
The content of Assessment of Clinical Skills(Doctor) includes: clinical assessment of inspection, diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical technique of common oral and maxillofacial diseases in each specialty. The assessment form contains written examination of theoretical knowledge and practice examination of clinical skills.
