Department of Geriatric Dentistry
The Department of Geriatric Dentistry, West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, is an interdisciplinary comprehensive stomatological diagnosis and treatment center, which integrates the oral health care and the teaching / research of geriatric stomatology.
We provide diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases for the elderly patients, including dental / dental pulp / periapical diseases, periodontal diseases, dental defect and deficiency problems. We also design the personalized therapeutic regimen and provide oral health management guidance for the public. Specific diagnosis and treatment projects include dental caries treatment, restoration and conservation treatment of residual crowns and roots, minimally invasive repair technology, microscopic root canal treatment, systematic treatment of periodontal diseases, all-ceramic crown restoration, fixed bridge, dental veneer, inlay restoration, functional occlusal reconstruction, removable denture, precision attachment denture restoration, immediate implant, aesthetic implant, minimally invasive implant, digital 3D implant surgery design and other dental care services.
There are advanced dental medical equipment, as well as a high-level medical team, in line with the principle of “doctor’s benevolence, dedication”, providing high-quality and efficient medical care services for the patients, to fully meet the needs of the public and give them one-stop service experience.
