WCHS Organized Series of Activities on World Oral Health Day 2024
As World Oral Health Day approaches, West China Hospital of Stomatology (WCHS), Sichuan University carried out a diverse range of activities aimed at raising the public’s awareness of oral healthcare and enhancing the overall oral health of the society.
WCHS organized numerous charitable initiatives, including comprehensive oral health examinations, Q&A sessions, oral health lectures, and educational guidance.
In a special outreach effort on March 19th, WCHS organized an oral health promotion activity for 30 hearing-impaired junior high school students at the Chengdu Special Education School. Led by our tour guides, sign language interpreters, and volunteers, the students took a field trip to West China Museum of Oral Health Education.
Furthermore, from March 18th to 20th, Dr. Bo Yang and Dr. Yi Wang, members of the medical team of WCHS in S?o Tomé and Príncipe, carried out a “3?20 World Oral Health Day” charity clinic on the island of Príncipe.
As the National Center for Stomatology, WCHS remains steadfast in its dedication to enhancing public oral health and improving people’s overall well-being.
