WCSS Faculty Member Clinches Top Prize in National Teaching Competition

Guiquan Zhu, an associate professor from the Department of Head & Neck Neoplasm Surgery at WCSS, has emerged as the gold medalist in the medical group during the finals of the Sixth National University Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, held from April 20 to 24 at Tsinghua University. Professor Zhu’s outstanding teaching and the contribution of the many faculty are the ones who made this achievement possible.

The 6th National College Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition, jointly organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Education, is a highly esteemed academic event that celebrates outstanding educators in the country. With participation from over 1,800 colleges and universities, the competition consisted of five distinct groups and three rounds, ultimately awarding the highest-performing teachers in each round.
