Professor Ling Ye from WCSS/WCHS Elected as President of the IADR/APR
On December 29, the council meeting of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Asia Pacific Region (APR) was held online, with members from the Chinese Division, Japanese Division, Korean Division, Indian Division, and Southeast Asian Division of IADR. Professor Ling Ye, dean of West China School/Hospital of Stomatology and vice president of Sichuan University, was elected to serve as the president of IADR/APR.
At the meeting, Professor Kwon, outgoing president of IADR/APR, gave a welcome speech, after which Dr. Seneviratne, secretary-general of the council, presented the 2022 annual work report, and Professor Ling Ye delivered the inaugural address on behalf of the new council. Then, councilors had a lively and in-depth discussion on the annual development plan and key tasks in 2023.
