Virtual simulation center for experimental stomatology education
The virtual simulation experiment teaching platform is mainly composed of Patient Simulation System for Dental Education and Haptic Technology Based Virtual Reality Dental Trainers, which is the second such education platform established globally. In 2015, it was approved by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China to become a National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Center. Man-machine conversation, strong simulation and good repeated training effect make the Patient Simulation System and VR Dental Trainer more closer to clinical situation comparing with traditional dental phantom trainer and become the core high-tech of stomatology clinical education. It will open a new digital model of stomatology education to improve the comprehensive quality of dental students.
